杂诗
（八首其二）
白日沦[1]西阿，素月出东岭。
遥遥万里辉，荡荡空中景[2]。
风来入房户，夜中枕席冷。
气变悟时易，不眠知夕永。
欲言无予和，挥杯劝孤影。
日月掷人去，有志不获骋[3]。
念此怀悲凄，终晓不能静。
这首诗写诗人长夜不眠的情怀，抒发了对事业无成的感慨。通过写秋夜之景展现凄凉的感思。
开篇描写了日月更迭,万里辉煌的景象。“气变悟时易，不眠知夕永”是说风冷才知道节气变了，因为失眠而知道长夜的永恒。诗人因为天气的变换觉察出四时更替，衬托出凄寒心境。后面道出不眠的原因是没有能够陪自己说话喝酒的知己，从而感叹时光飞逝。“有志不获骋”是说有壮志却不能得到施展。正是诗人孤独苦闷、心怀悲凄的原因所在。想到自己坎坷的命途，悲凄之感直到天亮的时候都不能平静下来。全诗都充满了诗人对人生的叹息。

[2]遥遥万里辉，荡荡空中景：月色铺满大地，广阔的天空上明月高悬。万里辉：指月光。荡荡：宽阔，广阔。景：同影，指月亮。
[3]骋：驰骋，指宏伟大志无法实现，自己的才能无法施展。

(II)
Beyond the western hills sinks the sun white;
Over east ridge the moon sheds her pure light.
For miles and miles overflow the moonbeams;
The air is permeated with shadows and dreams.
With the west wind my lonely room is filled;
At dead of night my mat and pillow chilled.
In autumn’s breath I hear seasonal song;
On sleepless bed I feel the night so long.
I want to talk, but to whom to confide?
I drink to lonely shadow by my side.
The sun and the moon rise and fall with speed,
But where can I gallop at will my steed?
Thinking of this, I am so much depressed.
How could my mind all the night long find rest!
