The River

So many years I have been unexpectedly searching
To find that flowing river in the heart
I know maybe it isn’t at any place
Perhaps in my dearest hometown at the bottom of my heart

After all, how many returns have to be made till one can see the sky
Who could tell me that the surge of loneliness and longing
(Is the river in my dream that has been eternally separated thousand miles away)

The moon is so stiff and rainbow also so confused
What I can do is not to be sorrow and hopeful
Always full of desolation at the best moment
Just because life is destined to be died in unruliness

*After all, how many injuries one has to suffer so that one can ignore the pain
After all, how many roads one has to walk to be back to the origin
Who could tell me that the galloping confusion and pride
Are the river at the bottom of my heart that has been separated eternally for a life

As the flower that blooms like a flame
We are inscribed in this chilly world
What is in this world that can be
Sadder than the helpless sobs of those clear souls
