Although Vincent doubted Dr Gachet’s ability to help him,

they did become good friends.

He dined at his house and painted his daughter.

In July 1♥8♥9♥0, he returned to Paris to visit Theo

and his sister-in-law, Jo,

and to see for the first time his recently-born nephew,

Vincent.

Theo explained to him that he now had responsibilities,

with a young family to support.

Vincent now feared that he was becoming a liability.

Four days after writing his final letter to Theo,
他走进麦田
he went into the wheatfields
对自己胸口开了一枪
and shot himself in the chest.
他爬回了这里
He managed to crawl back here

and climb these stairs to his attic room.
两天后 他死在这间房♥里 享年三十七岁
Two days later, he died here, in this room, at the age of 37,
提奥就在他身旁
with Theo at his side.

excellent and looked after him very well, but,
