The chariots! Run! Run!
侍奉埃及人比死在这里好多了
Better to serve than to die here!
谁能与神的力量抗争
Who shall withstand the power of God?
你止息狂风
Thou didst blow with thy winds
海水便淹没了他们
and the sea covered them!
我主 你是世上独一无二的
Who is like unto Thee, O Lord?
永恒中的永恒 你是万世之主
From everlasting to everlasting…Thou art God!
唯有主是真神
The Lord is one! The Lord is one!
在你杀我之前让我看看你剑上的血
Before you strike… show me his blood on your sword.
你甚至杀不了他
You couldn’t even kill him.
他的神是真神
His god…IS God.
摩西带领以色列人渡过红海进入西奈旷野
And Moses led Israel from the Red Sea into the wilderness of Sinai.
他们在圣山前驻营休息
And they camped before the holy mountain.
当人们看到摩西过时还没下山
And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mountain,
便结集在一起议论纷纷
they gathered together.
人可能在山里活四十个昼夜吗
Could anyone live on that summit for 40 days and nights?
-可以的 只要这是神的意旨 -谁知晓神的意旨呢
-Yes! By the will of God! -Who knows the will of God?
你知道吗 我知道吗
Do you? Do l? Or you, Sephora?
你呢 他忧愁的妻子西坡拉
His grieving wife.
她回来找她的丈夫 但他死了
She came back to find her husband.
连她都不敢奢望他还活着
But even she cannot hope he lives!
摩西深入禁地去领受神的律法
Moses went up into the forbidden ground to receive God’s law!
不错 但他回不来了
But he’s not returned!
我们都和你一样悲伤也很同情你
We share your pain. We sympathise.
但只靠同情可以引领我们到流奶与蜜之地吗
But will sympathy lead us to this land flowing with milk and honey?
现在我们已没有领袖
Now we have no leader!
别被骗了 摩西会回来的
Moses WILL return…AAH!
曾经行无数神迹的神…
Would a God who’s shown you such wonders
会让摩西在完成工作前死掉吗
Iet Moses die before his work is done?
她说的是 这是他的母亲 最美丽的母亲
His mother! So beautiful is the hope of a mother!
但是你们之中还有更多的母亲
But there are other mothers among you!
你们想过你子女的前途吗
What will become of your children?
-我们要有信心 -对什么有信心

你能带我们到应许之地吗
Can you lead us to this land of promise?
-你知道在哪里吗 -越过旷野
-Do you know where it is? -Across the wilderness!

除了埃及我还能带领你们去什么地方
Where could I bring you but Egypt?
-我们会被处死的 -不 那儿有粮食
-Where there is death? -No! Where there is food!
-法老会杀死我们 -若有埃及神像带领着我们就不会了
-Pharaoh would kill us. -Not with a god of Egypt before us!
-亚伦你可以为我们造一具神像 -亚伦熟知祭祀之事
-Make one, Aaron. -Aaron knows the art of the temple!
我不会答应的

他不答应

他宁可我们陈尸荒野
He would rather see our flesh rot in the wilderness.
你一定要为我们造一具神像
You WILL make a god for us!
一具神像 一具金牛犊
A god of gold! A golden calf!
欧拉可以当大祭司
Korah shall be the high priest!
篮子 水桶 披巾 统统拿来
Bring baskets! Buckets! Shawls! Anything you have!
将所有耳环 手圈项练丢进去
Take off your earrings, your bracelets, your necklaces…
我们要造一只金牛犊
Aaron will make us a golden calf!
-去拿我们从埃及带来的金器 -埃及的掠夺物
-The gold we took from Egypt! -There!
从燃烧的荆草中
From the burning bush, O Lord,
你命我将百姓带领至这圣山
you charged me to bring the people to this holy mountain,
见证你的荣耀并领受你的律法
to behold your glory and receive your law.
我还有什么事情没作的
What have I left undone?

我是你的神
I am the Lord thy God.
除我之外 你不可有别的神
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
你不可雕刻任何偶像
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
他们把偶像覆上金箔
And they overlaid the image with pure gold.
亚伦制♥造♥神像并用锤子把金箔覆上
And Aaron fashioned it and smoothed it with the hammer,
制♥作♥精巧 光耀悦目
ready to be graven by cunning art and man’s device.
他用钉子将之固定
And he fastened it with nails that it should not move.
冒烟的铁砧将金块锤成薄片
And he that smote the anvil did beat the molten gold into thin plates.
他们将珍宝丢进熔炉里
For they had gathered their treasure into the midst of the furnace,
用熊熊烈火将之熔化
and did blow the fire upon it to melt it.
他们用各色珍奇的衣物装饰自己
And they adorned themselves in rich apparel and costly array,
蓝色 紫色 红色的面纱
veils of blue, purple and scarlet,
柔软的亚麻布 都是埃及出产
and fine linen wrought in Egypt.
女人们酿造新酒
And the women tread grapes into new wine.
你不可妄用你神之名
Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
纪念安息日
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
孝敬父母
Honour thy father and thy mother.
不可杀人
Thou shalt not kill.
人们却在地上犯了大罪
And the people sinned a great sin,
他们为自己造了一座金神像
for they had made them a god of gold.
将它负在肩上 欢乐的说
And they bore him upon their shoulders and rejoiced,
“这就是以色列人之神”
saying, “This be our god, O Israel.”
你还在哀悼摩西不敢面对新神的金像吗
Are you mourners of Moses afraid to face the new god?
他们是迷失信仰的孩子
Then they were as children who have lost their faith.
他们执迷不悟 悖逆神
They were perverse and crooked and rebellious against God.
他们吃了邪恶的面包
They did eat the bread of wickedness,
喝了狂暴的酒
and drank the wine of violence,
行主眼中为恶之事
and did evil in the eyes of the Lord.
他们呼叫着
And the people cried,
“偶像带来欢乐”
“The graven image hath brought us joy,”
他们崇拜这只金牛犊并为它奉上祭品
and they worshipped the golden calf and sacrificed unto it.
这就是你们的祭品
Here is your sacrifice!
不可奸♥淫♥
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
不可偷盗
Thou shalt not steal.
不可作伪证陷害邻人
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
不可贪恋他人财物
Thou shalt not covet anything that is thy neighbour’s.
神亲手所书
Written with the finger of God.
你下山去吧
Go! Get thee down,
人心败坏了
for thy people have corrupted themselves.
人们大声地嬉戏着无节制的吃喝
And the people rose up to play and did eat and drink.
像一群呆人一样
They were as the children of fools
他们脱去衣物
and cast off their clothes.
邪恶像波浪翻涌的大海
The wicked were like a troubled sea
海水掩盖了一切
whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
将邪恶散播到每一个角落
They sank from evil to evil and were viler than the earth.
他们狂暴与酒醉
And there was rioting and drunkenness,
成了罪恶的仆人
for they had become servants of sin.
失去了神性 追求肉体的快乐
There was manifest all manner of ungodliness and works of the flesh.
通奸 淫乱 不洁
Even adultery and lasciviousness,
拜偶像 暴♥力♥ 虚荣和发怒
uncleanness, idolatry and rioting,vanity and wrath.
他们犯下一切邪恶的罪行
And they were filled with iniquity and vile affections.
亚伦知道他为他们带来耻辱
And Aaron knew that he had brought them to shame.
将祭品用绳子绑好
Abiram! Korah! Bind the sacrifice with cord!
绑在金牛犊的角上
Even unto the horns of the altar!
摩西 你闪耀着神的荣光
The light of God shines from you, Moses.
不要向我行礼 约书亚
Do not kneel to me, Joshua.
这些石板…
These tablets of stone…
是神的笔迹
The writing of God.
他的十条戒律
His Ten Commandments.
营地有作战的声音
There is a noise of war in the camp.
不是杀伐之声是歌♥唱和狂乱之声
It is not the noise of war.
那是歌♥唱和作乐的声音
It is the noise of song and revelry.
你们遭殃了 以色列人
Woe unto thee, oh Israel.
你们在神面前犯了大罪
You have sinned a great sin in the sight of God!
你们不配领受十条律法
You are not worthy to receive these Ten Commandments.
我们合起来反对你
We are gathered against you, Moses!
你太自以为是了
You take too much upon yourself!
我们不要活在你的戒条下 我们是自♥由♥人
We will not live by your commandments. We are free!
没错…自♥由♥必须有法律的约束
There is no freedom without the law.
谁的法律 你的吗
Whose law? Yours?
你自己刻了二块石板想称王吗
Did you carve the tablets to become a prince over us?
服从律法的到我这边来
Who is on the Lord’s side… Iet him come to me!
