第十一个小时（2007）

It’s not just soil erosion.
不单源于土壤浸蚀
It’s not just chemical contamination of our land and water.
不单源于土壤和水源的化学污染
It’s not just the population problem.
不单源于人口问题
And it’s not just all of those.
也不是这些问题的总和
The deterioration of the environment of our planet…
地球环境的恶化
…is an outward mirror of an inner condition.
投射出了我们的内心世界
Like inside, like outside.
外面什么样 里面就什么样
And that’s a part of the great work.
这才是 这个伟大工程的一部分
What if we choose to eradicate ourselves from this Earth
如果人类想从地球上消失呢？
by whatever means? The Earth goes nowhere.
不管怎样 地球还是照样会转
And in time, it will regenerate…
它会及时重生
…and all the lakes will be pristine.
湖泊会再一次变得清澈
The rivers, the waters, the mountains…
河流 海洋 高山…
…everything will be green again.
一切会再度恢复绿色
It’ll be peaceful.
一切会回复平静
There may not be people, but the Earth will regenerate.
也许人类会灭绝 但地球会重生
And you know why?
至于原因
Because the Earth has all the time in the world…
因为地球拥有的时间 是无穷无尽的…
…and we don’t.
而我们的时间不是
So I think that’s where we’re at, right now.
