谢枋得
子规[2]啼彻四更[3]时，
起视蚕稠[4]怕叶稀。
不信楼头杨柳月[5]，
玉人[6]歌舞未曾归。
注释：
[1] 诗人关心农民生活，把男耕女织，采桑养蚕，日夜操劳的农夫蚕妇，和富贵人家养尊处优、寻欢作乐、歌舞通宵的达官贵人进行对比，写出了唐代社会贫富不均的矛盾现象。
[2] 子规：杜鹃鸟。
[3] 四更：古时一夜为五更，四更在天亮之前。
[4] 蚕稠：蚕多而聚集在一起。
[5] 杨柳月：挂在柳梢的月亮，暗示夜已深。
[6] 玉人：美丽的女子，此处指歌女舞伎。
Song of the Silkworm Breeders
Xie Fangde
Before dawn rise those women cuckoo’s song grieves,
Afraid there are more silkworms than mulberry leaves.
Could they believe the moon over the willow trees
Has seen fair dancers dance all night long without cease?
《蚕妇吟》是南宋诗人谢枋得创作的一首七言绝句。这首诗采用的叙事手法非常新颖，以对比的的手法，将富贵人家的荒淫享乐来与蚕妇的辛勤劳作形成强烈对比，同是夜不成寐，一是歌舞宴乐，一是忧心温饱，悬殊甚巨。这首诗构思巧妙，角度新颖，矛头准稳，因而广为流传。
“Song of the Silkworm Breeders” is a seven-line poem written by Xie Fangde of the Southern Song Dynasty. The poem adopts a very novel narrative technique, contrasting the lustful pleasures of the rich and powerful with the hard work of the silkwomen, who are both sleepless at night, singing, dancing and feasting, and worried about food and clothing. The poem is cleverly conceived, with a novel perspective and a precise and steady spearhead, and is therefore widely circulated.
