寻寻觅觅，
冷冷清清，
凄凄惨惨戚戚。

Slow, Slow Tune

I look for what I miss;
I know not what it is.
I feel so sad, so drear,
So lonely, without cheer.
How hard is it
To keep me fit
In this lingering cold!
Hardly warmed up
By cup on cup
Of wine so dry,
O how could I
Endure at dusk the drift
Of wind so swift?
It breaks my heart, alas!
To see the wild geese pass,
For they are my acquaintances of old.
The ground is covered with yellow flowers,
Faded and fallen in showers.
Who will pick them up now?
Sitting alone at the window, how
Could I but quicken
The pace of darkness that won’t thicken?
On plane’s broad leaves a fine rain drizzles
As twilight grizzles.
O what can I do with a grief
Beyond belief?

《声声慢·寻寻觅觅》是宋代女词人李清照的词作。此词通过描写残秋所见、所闻、所感，抒发自己因国破家亡、天涯沦落而产生的孤寂落寞、悲凉愁苦的心绪，具有浓厚的时代色彩。作品在结构上打破了上下片的局限，一气贯注，着意渲染愁情，如泣如诉，感人至深。开头连下十四个叠字，形象地抒写了作者孤独的心情；下文“点点滴滴”又前后照应，表现了作者寂寞忧郁的情绪和动荡不安的心境。全词一字一泪，风格深沉凝重，哀婉凄苦，极富艺术感染力。
The Song Dynasty lyricist Li Qingzhao wrote the lyrics of “Slow, Slow Tune”. Through describing what she sees, hears and feels in the late autumn, this lyric expresses her loneliness, desolation, sadness and sorrow caused by the breakup of her country and the fall of her family, with strong colors of the times. The structure of the work breaks the limitation of the upper and lower pieces, and it focuses on rendering the sorrowful feelings in a single breath, which is as touching as a sob. The fourteen superimposed words at the beginning of the piece express the author’s lonely mood; the following words “dripping” follow each other, showing the author’s lonely and melancholy mood and his turbulent state of mind. The lyrics are deep and heavy, mournful and miserable, and are very infectious.
