早朝大明宫
贾至[1]
银烛朝天紫陌[2]长，
禁城[3]春色晓苍苍[4]。
千条弱柳垂青琐[5]，
百啭[6]流莺绕建章[7]。
剑珮[8]声随玉墀[9]步，
衣冠身惹[10]御炉[11]香。
共沐恩波凤池[12]上，
朝朝染翰侍君王。
注释：
[1] 贾至：开元盛世的中书舍人，为唐明皇起草诏书，诗中把中书省比作天上的凤凰池。《千家诗》注说：“银烛，月光也；紫陌，御阶也；青琐，宫门刻为青琐之形。建章，宫名。柳千条，莺百啭，皆春时也。染翰，谓以文章侍君也。”贾至这首七律描写了唐朝早朝的盛况，写出了典型的朝臣生活，所以王维、杜甫、岑参都作诗奉和，这也是唐代文人的风气习惯。早朝，古代百官早晨朝见皇帝。大明宫，又名蓬莱宫，唐朝宫殿。

[4] 晓苍苍：指天刚蒙蒙亮。
[5] 青琐：古代宫门上的一种装饰，后泛指宫门。
[6] 啭：鸟鸣。
[7] 建章：建章宫，此处代指大明宫。
[8] 剑珮：带有玉饰物的宝剑，此处代指早朝时的仪仗。
[9] 玉墀：宫中白色的石阶。
[10] 惹：沾染。
[11] 御炉：宫中的香炉。
[12] 凤池：代指中书省。
Morning Levee
Jia Zhi
On long, long royal lanes the moon shines silver-bright;
Spring daybreak on the capital sheds new-born light.
Thousands of slender willow twigs caress the wall;
Hundreds of orioles sing around the palace hall.
Pendants and swords clink when we go up steps or down;
Imperial incense has perfumed our hat and gown.
Steeped in royal favor at Phoenix Pool we stay;
We’ll serve our lord with heart and soul from day to day.
《早朝大明宫》是唐代诗人贾至的作品。此诗第一联是描写一个“早”字，第二联写大明宫的景色，第三联写百官上殿朝见的情况，第四联是感恩效忠的话。全诗把皇宫豪华的气派以及百官上早朝时严肃隆重的场面写得活灵活现，政治色彩很浓。
The poem “Morning Levee” is a work by Jia Zhi, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. The first line of the poem describes the word “morning”, the second line describes the scenery of the Daming Palace, the third line describes the situation of the hundred officials attending the court, and the fourth line is the words of gratitude and loyalty. The whole poem brings to life the luxurious atmosphere of the palace and the solemn scene of the hundred officials attending the morning court, with strong political color.
