落花

翡翠枝余萼[2]绿痕。

金谷香销漫一尊。
狼藉满庭君莫扫,
且留春色到黄昏。

Fallen Flowers[1]
Hao Jing
As rainbow clouds o’er darkened door, red petals shower;
On jadeite branch is left the trace of fallen flower.
Of peach and plum in eastern breeze dream butterflies;
For moonlit hills and northern walls cuckoo’s soul cries.
Jade railings stand in chilly mist amid bare trees;
The beauty[2] gone in Golden Vale, wine cups displease.
Don’t sweep the blooms spread pell-mell in the yard away!
Let vernal beauty stay till the end of the day!
注释:
[1]This was written when the poet was detained in the south, so he compared himself to the butterfly and the cuckoo longing for the north.
[2]The beautiful Lady Green Pearl fell down from the tower in the Garden of Golden Vale like fallen flowers in 300.
