逢侠者
钱起[1]
燕赵[2]悲歌士[3],
相逢剧孟[4]家。
寸心[5]言不尽,
前路日将斜[6]。
注释:
[1] 《千家诗》注说:“燕赵古多慷慨悲歌之士,如荆轲聂政之流,至唐犹盛也。起路逢剑侠之士,因作诗以赠之。言子固燕赵之侠士也。与子幸逢于洛阳道中,又汉侠士剧孟之乡,于是两心相契而纵谈悲壮不平之事。无奈高谈未尽,而夕阳已斜,又将分手而别也。”这首诗赞美侠义之风。
[2] 燕赵:燕国和赵国,都是战国时的国家。古时候此地多有侠客,这一情况一直延续到唐代。
[3] 悲歌士:古代侠客的事迹大多带有慷慨悲壮的色彩,故称其为悲歌士。
[4] 剧孟:西汉时的著名侠客,洛阳人。
[5] 寸心:此处是倾心之意。
[6] 日将斜:太阳将要落山,天色将晚。
A Swordsman
Qian Qi
I’ve met a swordsman in his land,
Who would take justice in his hand.
To him I would lay bare heart mine,
But the sun is on the decline.
