我丈夫生前非常的虔诚
My late husband, a man of great faith,
每年都为多杰喇♥嘛♥的寺庙布施
made a donation every year to Lama Dorje’s monastery.
有一天 多杰喇♥嘛♥突然过来
Then one day, Lama Dorje came here.
事先没有通知就直接过来
Unannounced. Just appearing at the door like a miracle.
在这待了两天
He stayed for two days.
快要离开时
And just as he was leaving,
他把他的手…
he placed his hand…
放在我的腹部… 就像这样
on my stomach… like this.
持续了一会 我当时一头雾水
For a long time, I didn’t know what it meant.
但多杰喇♥嘛♥圆寂之后
But immediately after Lama Dorje died,
我就怀孕了
I became pregnant.
我和丈夫都认为…
Something which my husband and I had thought…
这是不可思议的事
was impossible.
一个月前 她就写信告诉我…
A month ago, she wrote to me to come right away…
出现了很多难以置信的事
because a most amazing thing had happened.
有一天晚上… – 孩子用藏语…
One night, the child… – Gita was…
持诵我听不懂的经♥文♥
chanting prayers in Tibetan, saying things I couldn’t understand.
她在梦中说的藏语吗？
She was speaking Tibetan in her sleep?
是《心经》 真有点神奇 她怎么可能会持诵呢？
The Heart sutra. A little miracle. How could she know that?
她说的是梵语
She was speaking Sanskrit.
即说咒曰 揭谛揭谛
波罗揭谛 波罗僧揭谛
菩提萨婆诃
哇 看那只猴子
Wow, look at that monkey!
它长得像我的猴子 – 它们都是我的
He look like my monkey. – They are all my monkeys.
那棵树叫什么名字啊？
What’s that one called over there?
别笑了 会吓到他们的 知道吗？
Don’t laugh. You’ll scare them. Do you know…
悉达多就是在这棵树下成就正觉的吗？
Siddhartha reached Enlightenment under this tree?
是吗？ – 总之 就是一棵像这样的树
Yeah? – Anyhow, a tree just like this one.
喇♥嘛♥ 喇♥嘛♥ 这是真的吗？
Lama! Lama, is it true?
这棵树真的像悉达多得道的那棵吗？
Is this really, like, Siddhartha’s tree?
当然 极为相似
Well, probably something very similar.
悉达多独自一人来到菩提伽耶
It was outside a little village called Bodgaya.
在一棵像这样枝叶繁茂的树下
Siddhartha sat under a great tree,
结跏趺坐
just like this one.
他已悟得了中道…
He had found the Middle Way…
恢复了体力
and restored his body to health.
随之而来的是五位女子
And then five girls appeared.
她们看上去貌美如花 天真无邪
They looked like innocent village girls,
其实 她们是魔罗的五个女儿
but in fact they were the five daughters of Mara,
这五个魔女
Lord of Darkness.
分别是傲慢
They were the spirits of Pride,
贪婪、恐惧
Greed, Fear,
愚痴和欲望的化身
Ignorance and Desire.
魔罗派来她们来…
And Mara had sent them…
引诱扰乱禅定中的悉达多
to tempt Siddhartha away from his search.
我想走近点
I’ll go a closer.
魔罗用尽各种方式…
Mara had tried to tempt Siddhartha…
来迷惑和引诱悉达多
in the cleverest of ways:
他制♥造♥出美好的景象…
by disguising the temptations of life…
来蛊惑悉达多
in the simplest forms.
但悉达多不为所惑
But Siddhartha was looking beyond form,
看破了幻象
beyond the present.
终于 魔罗被激怒了
And now Mara was enraged.
眼见魔罗就要失败了
It seemed as if Mara had been defeated,
但他不甘心放弃
but in fact he had not yet given up the battle.
于是又卷土重来
Now he attacked again.
你已经万夫莫敌了
You who go where no one else will dare,
愿意成为天神吗？
will you be my god?
自我
Architect,
你终于出现了
finally I have met you.
我要破除对自我执着
You will not rebuild your house again.
自我就是你的躯壳
But I am your house,
怎能没有躯壳
and you live in me.
自我的执着啊
O lord of my own ego,
你只是虚而不实的幻觉
you are pure illusion.
你根本就不存在
You do not exist.
大地能为我见证
The earth is my witness.
悉达多用博爱与慈悲的力量
Siddhartha won the battle against an army of demons,
战胜了我执
just through the force of his love…
降服了魔军
and the great compassion he had found.
他的心中更加平静
And he achieved…
深入在三昧的禅定中
the great calm that precedes…
到达了无念无想的境界
detachment from illusions.
他超越了苦和乐 消除了分别心
He had reached beyond himself.
光天化日的觉悟世界
He was beyond joy or pain,
就将出现在眼前
separate from judgment.
他能够知道久远以来的自己…
Able to remember that he had been…
生在什么地方
a girl, a dolphin,
叫过什么名字
a tree, a monkey.
作过什么事情 无量劫以来…
He remembered his first birth…
生死轮回的经历
and the millions after that.
都清楚了然 历历在目
He could see beyond the universe.
悉达多…
Siddhartha…
他看破了世间万物的本质
had seen the ultimate reality of all things.
他觉悟到自己和一切众生
He had understood…
生死轮转 时为父母 时为子女
that every movement in the universe…
因缘牵连 互为眷属
is an effect provoked by a cause.
于是他从众生平等的感悟中…
He knew there was no salvation…
生起了博大的慈悲之心
without compassion for every other being.
终于 他从无明中觉醒
From that moment on,
成为了开悟的人
Siddhartha was called the Buddha,
也就是佛陀
the Awakened One.
怎么了 杰西？

我害怕 爸爸
I’m scared, dad.
嘿 我也一样很害怕啊
Hey man, I’m scared too.
我们要怎么和妈妈说？
What should we say to tell mom?
她也想知道故事的结局啊

They began making this mandala the day I left the monastery.
现在已经快完成了
And now it is almost complete.
真的很美 为什么用砂来制♥作♥？
It’s beautiful. Why is it made of sand?
为了诠释世间万物的变化无常
To show the impermanence of all within the universe.
当唐卡做好后
So when it is completed,
就用特定方式抹掉
it’ll be destroyed with one gesture.
就像这样
Like that.
真是殊胜而不可思议 圣座
It is very mysterious, Your Holiness.
三个孩子显出了相同的迹象
All three children show the same signs.
我们得看看
We shall see it.
