This is an very beautiful and classic song from Leslie, however, my translation doesn’t do the poetic part of this song right, it is too literal and plain. The song is about losing an important person and feel the deep grief. We all have that experience when you miss someone, everything could remind you of that person, and every details in the life could bring memory, then pain and sorrow. In this song, the emotion takes over the dumpee, he realised he lost the person forever, someone he hold very tight has gone and only empty is left.
