This song is very abstract and doesn’t have that clear literal meaning. For my understanding, it is like some girl who has a sleepless night and starts to count what happens in her life. Taste of cake, the first feeling she gained from a toy, popcorn which used to bring her fulfillment and happiness, then her first kiss, her second kiss, the flavour of medicine she drank when ill (maybe from breakup), then move to the second man she loved….. and count and count, from childhood till now, does she ever wasted anything?
