5am.

The crowds are waiting for the senior masons to announce

But the rivalry to cover the central minaret is so fierce…

..some of the younger masons decide not to wait.
巴伯吃了一惊
Baber is caught by surprise.

He needs to move fast.

Everyone gathers to watch the race.

Against all the odds…

..Baber has taken the lead…

..and he’s won.

and as day breaks,

But now they have to tackle the rest of the mosque.

It’s nearly 10am and it’s now around 40 degrees.

The mud is starting to dry out.
