倦夜
竹凉侵卧内，
野月满庭隅[1]。
重露成涓滴[2]，
稀星乍有无。
暗飞萤自照，
水宿[3]鸟相呼[4]。
万事干戈里，
空悲清夜徂[5]！
这首诗的构思布局精巧玲珑。全诗起承转合，井然有序。前六句全写自然景色，全然无倦意，但这细致入微的景物，恰恰说明诗人辗转反侧，彻夜不眠，或醒卧榻上，或披衣闲步，点明题中“倦”字意。最后两句直抒胸臆，也是对上文夜不能眠的解释：不能酣眠，皆为国事。其时，安史之乱平息未久，吐蕃又进犯中原，早已支离破碎满目疮痍的山河，再次陷入连绵战火。朝廷内奸佞当道，诗人也已年老，深感自己报国无门，只能空悲切。再回看其景，莫不饱含哀愁。

Depressed Night
The cool of bamboo invades my bed,
Wild moonlight in my yard outspread.
Drop by drop drips down heavy dew,
Flickering starlight fades from view.
A firefly lights its lonely way
While waterbirds wait for the day.
See war flames outspread far and near!

《倦夜》是唐代大诗人杜甫创作的一首五律。此诗前六句描写夜晚绿竹、庭院、朗月、稀星、飞萤、宿鸟等景物；后二句由写景转入抒情，总结全篇所写之景，点明了诗人爱国忧时之意旨。全诗炼字精妙，构思精巧。黄生评此诗云：“前幅刻画夜景，无字不工。结处点明，章法紧峭。”
“Depressed Night” is a poem written by Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty. The first six lines of the poem describe the scenery of green bamboo, courtyard, moon, stars, fireflies and birds at night; the second two lines move from writing about the scenery to expressing emotions, summarizing the scenery written in the whole poem and pointing out the poet’s intention of loving the country and worrying about the time. The whole poem word refinement subtle, well-conceived. Huang commented on this poem: “the first panel of the night scene, no word not work. At the end of the point, the chapter style is tight.”
