There are no quiet days or quiet nights.
People’s expressions appear nervous.
Their hands grip tightly onto guns;
Their chests rise and fall.
In their eyes, there is a look of utter despair.

There are neither smiling faces nor a peaceful sight to behold.
The flames of war push people towards death.
All the shattered dreams,
Annihilated hopes,
People are already so crazy.

Don’t go defiling their homes.
Don’t go and shoot dead those small innocent children.
With tears flowing, unable to speak a single sentence,
Who is able to formulate a response?

Without a place to safely sleep,taking cover all over the place,
What can the good and honest people do?
What used to be their homeland,their peaceful paradise, in the past.
Is now such a desolate place.
