reason (ours not to reason why )别问原因，尽管去做
当下级不明白为什么需要执行某个命令时，其上级有时会说“ours not to reason why”，即要求下级无条件执行命令。这其实是误用了《轻骑兵的冲锋》（The Charge of the Light Brigade ）中的相关诗句，阿尔弗雷德·丁尼生（Alfred Tennyson）于克里米亚战争期间创作此诗：
Their’s not to make reply,
Their’s not to reason why,
Their’s but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
无人回答，
无人发问，
有的只是去战去死：
进入死亡之谷
