than 6 months in his entire life.

by anyone of the prison inmates,

or a bookmaker, or somebody he
beat up, or a woman he picked up,

or anyone of those tough guys
that he used to hang around with.

The voice was from another appartment, it’s very difficult
to identify a voice, let alone a voice that’s shouting.
他在法庭上辨认出来了
He identified it in court.
他把那男孩的声音和
5个匿名的声音区分开了
He picked the boy’s voice out
of 5 other voices blindfolded.
那只是野心勃勃的
检察官的表演罢了
That was just an ambitious
district attorney putting on a show.

The old man knew the boy’s voice very well.
They lived in the same house for years.

所以就把听到的声音

and therefore he just assumed that
the voice he heard was the boy’s voice?
我觉得那有点牵强
I think that’s a bit farfetched!
老头听见那父亲身体倒地
Look, the old man heard the father’s body falling.
15秒后他看见那男孩跑出房♥间
算了吧，他看见那男孩了
Then he saw the boy running out of the house
15 seconds later. Come on, he saw that boy.
还有街对面的那个女人
她直接从敞开的窗户里
What about the woman across the street?
She looked right out into the open window,
看见那小子刺他的父亲

The woman saw the kid through the
window of a moving elevated train.
列车有6节车厢
他从最后两节的车窗中看到了
The train had 6 cars and she saw it
through the windows of the last 2 cars.
我想说，她记得最重要的情节
I mean, she remembered
the most significant details.
我看你无法反驳
I don’t see how you can argue with that.
