朱淑贞
竹摇清影罩[2]幽窗，
两两时禽[3]噪[4]夕阳。
谢[5]却海棠飞尽絮，
困人[6]天气日初长。
注释：
[1] 文学是苦闷的象征，所以古人常用诗词描写自然之美，无论是翠竹或芭蕉，鸣禽或黄鹂，海棠或柳絮，都是借自然之生趣，来消解人生的苦闷。
[2] 罩：笼罩。
[3] 时禽：活动于当时季节的鸟儿。
[4] 噪：聒噪。
[5] 谢：凋谢。
[6] 困人：使人困乏。

My lonely window shaded by swaying bamboo,
At sunset I hear lovebirds chirping two by two.
Crabapple flowers fade, willow down flies away,
What drowsy weather when begins the lengthening day!
