況香断续玉炉寒，

Woke up at dawn on cane-seat couch with silken screen,
How can I tell my endless sorrow keen?
With incense burnt, the censer cold
Keeps company with my stagnant heart as of old.
The flute thrice played
Breaks the mume’s vernal heart which vernal thoughts invade.
A grizzling wind and drizzling rain
Call forth streams of tears again.
The flutist gone, deserted is the bower of jade
Who’d lean with me, broken-hearted, on the balustrade?
A twig of mume blossoms broken off, to whom can I
Send it, on earth or on high?

Seeing mume blossoms, the poetess thinks of her deceased husband who played on the flute and enjoyed the mume blossoms together with her.
《孤雁儿·藤床纸帐朝眠起》是李清照晚年时期的作品，因为此词有序言，也被后人称为《孤雁儿·并序》。
这首词写于李清照丈夫赵明诚去世之后。全词以“梅”为线索：相思之情，被梅笛挑起，被梅心惊动；又因折梅无人共赏，无人堪寄而陷入无可排释的绵绵长恨之中。
“A Lonely Swan ·Mume Blossoms” is a work written by Li Qingzhao in her later years, and is also known as “Lone Wild Goose – and Preface” because of its preface.
It was written after the death of Li Qingzhao’s husband, Zhao Mingcheng. The whole lyric takes “plum” as a clue: the love for each other is provoked by the plum flute and alarmed by the heart of the plum; and because there is no one to appreciate the folded plum, there is no one to send it to, and it is plunged into a long and unrelieved hatred.
