And there’s a famous poem about that by Auden,

which is a really good poem about how people don’t really notice
毫不知情
these things happening.

I think these woodcutters
存在的部分原因就是为了让故事看起来更悲剧
are partly there to make it even more tragic,

because they just keep going on and on and on.

It’s amazing, isn’t it,
