有次我们在录音的时候 Andrae Crouch和他的和声团来了
Once we cut the track, Andrae Crouch and his wonderful singers
Bruce Swedien让他们都站上舞台
came in here and Bruce Swedien had them all up on this stage.
Bruce真是天才啊
Bruce is such a genius – he would have them
他先让他们都站这边 然后再站那边
actually stand along this side, then stand along the side,
然后再站在当中 这样感觉人会很多
then they’d stand in the middle, cos he wanted to get all this really incredible imaging.
所以像有57,000人在唱
That’s why it sounded like 57,000 people!
好了 现在和声合唱团进入 慢慢地
OK, now bring the choir in, gently there…
这就对了
Yeah, baby!
录音结束后 大家都回车上了
When the session was over, everybody was going back to their cars
就我和Quincy在听
and I was listening to it with Quincy.
我说 Quincy 我们用Change结尾吧
I said, “Quincy, you know what? We should have put “change” at the end.
他说 对啊
He said… “Yeah”.
他们正上车呢 我吹了个口哨
They were getting into their cars in the parking lot and I whistled,
说 回来 还有活儿要干
I said, “Come here, we’ve got to do something else.”
他们回来了 我说 就一个词…
And they came in. I said, just say…
然后是Michael说 Make that change!
And then Michael said, “Make that change!”
作出改变
